Last updated: 4 August 2026

Align Strength Studio ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how we use it, and what rights you have — in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian data protection law.

1. Who we are

Data controller: Align Strength Studio

Address: Emiel Blangenoisstraat 75, 2900 Schoten

Company / VAT number: BE1031972310

Contact email: info@alignstrengthstudio.com

Website: www.alignstrengthstudio.com

2. What personal data we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact details — name, email address, phone number.

  • Intake and booking information — the answers you give us when booking an intro call, including your training goals, experience, and any injuries, medical conditions, or physical limitations you share with us.

  • Communication data — messages, emails, or notes from conversations with you.

  • Website usage data — pages visited, browser type, and general interaction data, collected via cookies (see Section 4).

Health-related information you share (e.g. injuries or medical conditions) is a special category of data under GDPR Article 9. We only collect this with your explicit consent, and only to the extent needed to coach you safely.

3. Why we process your data, and on what legal basis

  • To respond to your booking request and hold your intro/coaching session — necessary to take steps prior to, and to perform, a contract with you.

  • To deliver personal coaching services and tailor your program to your goals and physical condition — performance of a contract and, for health data, your explicit consent.

  • To communicate with you about appointments, scheduling changes, or your coaching program — legitimate interest / contract.

  • To understand and improve how our website is used — consent (analytics cookies).

  • To show or measure relevant advertising on Meta platforms — consent (marketing cookies).

  • To comply with legal or accounting obligations — legal obligation.

4. Cookies

Our website and booking page use cookies — small text files stored on your device. Some are strictly necessary to let you book a session; others require your consent and are only set once you accept them via our cookie banner.

Cookie type

  • Google: Lets you book an intro or coaching session through our Google Calendar scheduling link; remembers your selection during the booking process.

  • Google Analytics: Helps us understand how visitors use our website (pages viewed, time on site) so we can improve it. Data is aggregated where possible.

  • Meta (Facebook Pixel): Used to measure the performance of our Facebook and Instagram ads and to show you relevant ads on Meta platforms.

You can withdraw or change your cookie consent at any time via the cookie settings link in our website footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from completing a booking.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Google — for calendar booking (Google Calendar appointment scheduling) and, if enabled, website analytics (Google Analytics).

  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — if you interact with our ads, for ad measurement and retargeting.

These providers act as processors or are themselves controllers of data collected through their tools, under their own privacy policies. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA (e.g. to the US), we rely on providers that use appropriate safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep your data

  • Intake and coaching records: for the duration of our working relationship, plus a reasonable period afterward (e.g. up to 2 years) in case you return, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

  • Booking data: retained by Google per their own retention settings, and by us for as long as needed to manage your appointments.

  • Analytics and marketing cookie data: as listed in the cookie table above.

  • Financial/administrative records: kept as long as required by Belgian accounting and tax law.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.

  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

  • Request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten"), where applicable.

  • Restrict or object to certain processing.

  • Receive your data in a portable format.

  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

  • Lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@alignstrengthstudio.com

8. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access — including limiting access to those who need it and using reputable, secure third-party tools for booking, storage, and communication.

9. Children

Our services are intended for adults. If you are under 18, please have a parent or guardian's consent before booking or sharing personal data with us.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we start using a new tool or service. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
